About NLC India
The Indian government’s Ministry of Coal is in charge of NLC India Limited (NLC), formerly known as Neyveli Lignite Corporation India Limited. NLC is a central public sector enterprise. Every year, it extracts over thirty million tonnes of lignite from open-pit mines located in the districts of Barsingsar in Rajasthan state and Neyveli in southern Tamil Nadu. Pithead thermal power stations with an installed capacity of 3600 MW use lignite to generate energy. Its joint venture operates a coal-fired, one thousand MW thermal power plant.

At Neyveli and Barsingsar, NLC operates four open-pit lignite mines with a combined capacity of 30.6 million tonnes per annum (MTPA); through its subsidiary, NLC Tamil Nadu Power Limited (NTPL), a joint venture between NLC and TANGEDCO (equity participation in the ratio of 89:11), it operates six lignite-based pithead thermal power stations with an aggregate capacity of 3640 MW at Neyveli and Barsingsar. NLC just put into service a 1×500 MW unit in Neyveli, which is the biggest lignite-fired boiler in Asia.
When it was founded in 1956, and fully owned by Indian government . In order to list the shares on the stock exchanges where they are traded, a tiny percentage of its equity was sold to the general public.
Where is the NLC located ?
NLC is located in Tamilnadu with power generation units all over India .The liason/inspection offices are located in Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Bangalore.

Who is eligible for NLC India Recruitment 2023 Executive Engineer exam ?
The company is seeking young, dynamic, and result-oriented talent to fill Graduate Executive Trainee (GET) positions using GATE 2023 score in the discipline of Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Mining and Computer.
The positions are for the Renewable Energy /Solar Power and Thermal Power Stations, Mines and Allied Services located in Neyveli, Tamil Nadu; Barsingsar, Rajasthan; Talabira, Odisha; South Pachwara, Jharkhand; and other regions of Sites in various States & Union Territories, including its subsidiaries and joint ventures in Tuticorin (NTPL), Tamil Nadu, and Ghatampur (NUPPL), Uttar Pradesh.

What is the salary of E2 in NLC Graduate Trainees ?
Applicants who join NLCIL as Graduate Executive Trainees (GETs) will spend a year in training. The GETs will receive monthly basic pay of INR 50,000, applicable dearness allowance, and common allowance (35% of basic pay) during the training term.
Post :Graduate Executive Trainee, Grade : E-2, Salary : INR.50,000 – 1,60,000
In addition to the CTC previously stated, there will be annual performance-related pay, health insurance for the self and any dependents, and group insurance as per regulations. If available, an eligible type of unfurnished residential space in Company Townships shall be offered at normal rent.
